Athlete Comments:

Jessa Goebal – Over the last season I have gotten the opportunity to test the Stonelands VCS. With red leather uppers and black terry cloth like lining this shoe has snug out of the box comfort. As their first test I took them out to Bridge Buttress at the New River Gorge and proceeded to climb on my rope solo circuit. Without ever taking the shoes off I comfortably climbed 8 pitches of cracks ranging from 5.9 to 5.11+. After the eighth pitch my feet felt like they had only been in the shoes for one pitch. As for the performance, they excelled in foot jams, edging, and smearing. The Stonelands certainly have a special place in my climbing backpack!”
