Charged up and ready to hit the track, the all-new 2024 KTM SX-E 2 powers into the KTM electric-powered mini line-up with one clear objective – bridging the gap between smaller Stacyc type electric balance bikes & Honda/Yamaha CRF 50/TTR50.It provides the ideal platform for the youngest riders to take the next step up.The KTM SX-E 2 is built around an aluminum extrusion frame that reduces the number of components needed. With fewer connections and mounting points, the chassis aims for perfectly balance. The subframe is made from a high-quality glass-fiber reinforced, impact-resistant plastic composite for low weight and added shock absorption.
Providing the power for the 2024 KTM SX-E 2 is a lightweight, maintenance-free, 1.8 kW Hub Motor mated to a water-resistant IP65 9.4 Ah, Lithium-ion power-tool-type battery, delivering a top speed of 32kph . Devoid of any additional parts like chains or sprockets, the Hub Motor keeps weight low and provides added safety in the event of a crash.
When it comes time to change batteries, the SX-E 2 battery can be swapped out in one easy movement, making it possible extend ride time with multiple batteries.100% charge in 1 hour
Up front, a WP hydraulic fork offers 90 mm travel, while a 34 mm hydraulic monoshock takes care of matters at the rear. The monoshock is mounted directly to the swingarm, offering 70 mm of travel
Young riders find their feet easily thanks to a 2-level adjustable seat height. In standard configuration, the seat height is 470 mm but can easily be increased to 500 mm by lifting the bodywork and seat unit and mounting the rear shock in an alternative position. This, along with the ability to lower the front fork in the triple clamp and adjust the heights of the foot-peg carrier, means each rider can grow with their KTM SX-E 2.
